The Schloßberg, a tree-clad hill and site of a fortress, in the center of the city of Graz, Austria - Arnold Schwarzenegger's hometown. The fortress, originally constructed in the 10th century, was never defeated. However, it was largely demolished by Napoleon under the Treaty of Schönbrunn in 1809. The clock tower and the bell tower of the fortress were saved only after the people of Graz paid a large ransom to Napoleon
